Asylum Monologues

Due to a copyright dispute with the former director we are currently unable to perform this play. Please consider to invite one of our current plays Not One Less or Germans among the victims. A research project on the NSU by Tuğsal Moğul.

The asylum monologues tell of Ali from Togo, affectionately called “President” by friends, Felleke from Ethiopia, who first has to be strong-willed to prevent deportation attempts in order to be presented with a human rights award, and Safiye, who after years of imprisonment in Turkey and an absurd asylum rejection decides on the most life affirming action: she gives life to a son and a daughter.
